Welcome to Rutland Water Benefice

We are a group of 10 parishes around the southern and eastern side of Rutland Water, with one Ministry Team, led by the Rector Rev'd Pippa Madgwick. All parishes have beautiful medieval churches where we seek to worship God and grow the Christian community.

The parishes are Edith Weston, Empingham, Lyndon, Manton, North Luffenham, Pilton, Preston, Ridlington, Whitwell and Wing.

Each parish usually has a regular pattern of worship and the services are listed in the Rutland Water Benefice calendar.

Safeguarding

Rutland Water Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Alison Woods, whose details can be found in each church porch.
