A record of gravestones in the churchyard of St Peter's Church, Empingham
In 1981 the Empingham Women's Institute undertook to document all the gravestones in in St Peter's Church, Empingham and to record that information in a book of the same title. The original is kept safe in the parish, and it is reproduced here in digital form.

All stones were drawn and documented by hand, to a scale of approximately 1:10. Stonemasons (where known) are written at the bottom of the inscription. Gravestones are made of local limestone, unless stated otherwise.
