"Footsteps in Faith" - New Year Course on Discipleship
As we leave behind the festive celebrations of the wonderful gift God gave into our world of the infant Christ, it is easy for us to move rapidly forward to the pressures of a New Year, with all there is to plan ahead, leaving behind our gift, wrapped and packed away with all the decorations for another year. The gift we share is given by a generous God, who asks us all to share this with the people around us, but how do we do this in our communities effectively? Understanding the discipleship we are called to share is the beginning, and starting in January, I will be running a short course before Lent to explore this with you.
The next meeting will be on the 26th January at 7:30 pm in Preston village hall, lasting about an hour. This course is open to everyone in the benefice.
If we find we would like more time, or to meet each week, we can make the appropriate changes, so I hope you will join me as we explore the basis of our faith together, and it would be helpful to let me know if you are able to come.
